Griffin Literacy Festival

Exhall celebrated the Griffin Literacy Fesitval honouring a different approach to legacy and heritage each day, through the use of our very own time machine: children were delighted to visit the time machine and travel to different 'time zones!'

Wednesday was themed around 'Our Dreams, Our Legacy', inspired by the books 'Big Dreams, Little People' where we all came to school dressed as our future selves and were rocketed to the future!

Thursday saw us delving into 'Our Stories, Our Past' where we travelled back in time, exploring a range of different literature from our own family's past and of course, exploring what life was like at Exhall in the 60s.

Finally, Friday was themed around 'Our Future, Our School' where we explored present day concepts, inviting our families into school to add to our Time Capsule which will be buried at Exhall for the future years of Exhall Junior School!
