Parents / Carers who are considering Exhall Junior School as the school for their child are encouraged to make an appointment to visit the school for a look round and to meet Mr Mann our Head teacher.

Lodging an appeal

You can appeal for any higher preference school for which you have been refused a place. The deadline to submit an appeal for a hearing to take place before the end of the summer term is 2 June 2025.

Even if you plan to appeal, we advise you to accept the offer you have been made, so that your child has a secured place for September 2024. Doing so will not affect any appeal you lodge, nor your place on any waiting lists.

Admission to Secondary School - Important Information

If your child is in Year 6, then you have until 31st October to submit your application for their secondary school place. There’s a range of useful information on the Warwickshire County Council website to help you apply, including a list of all local schools, a priority area map and a handy video to help you make realistic choices of schools. Education, health and care plans (EHCP)

If your child has an EHCP, you should not apply through the Warwickshire website. Information about applying for a school place has already been sent to you by the SENDAR (Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review) team, and details shared about how to tell SENDAR what your school preferences are for September 2025. This information has also been sent to your child's school, so please talk to your school's SENCo if you need further advice and support.
