Wednesday 2nd October 2024: Following a World War 2 recipe

Students in 5C have been busy in the kitchen! They experienced the task of baking when so many ingredients were rationed. The students showed great teamwork when baking WW2 Carrot Cookies.

Thursday 24th October 2024: Year 5 to Herbert Art Gallery and The Transport Museum

Year 5's trip to Coventry to learn more about World War 2 was great! Students had the opportunity to experience a real air raid shelter and explore real artefacts, vehicles and costumes from the Second World War.
