St. Giles Church

Exhall Junior School has always enjoyed a close link with St Giles Church.

The Reverend and other Church members come and lead assemblies in school. We also use the church for our Nativity Service and other events.

We are very lucky to have such a beautiful church on our doorstep.

We are a community of people of all ages,   who have discovered that shared faith, worshipping together, and belonging to this wider form of extended family add an important extra dimension to life.  Our beautiful parish church dates from the 12th century, and is located in Ash Green in its own tranquil churchyard bordered by our own St Giles’ Meadow and fields. We are part of the Church of England.

More locally St Giles’ is part of Coventry Diocese, whose aims are to worship God, make new disciples and transform our communities – in other words, we are here for people like you!

Each week at St Giles’ 200 people of all ages and walks of life come together at different times, for different kinds of worship and a variety of other activities. There’s tea and cake after most services, and other more social groups and events as well. Do have a look around this website. We hope you’ll find something you fancy, and get in touch. We’d love to see you!

Our church halls host several  community groups, such as Toddler Group, an Over 50s Club, two Mothers’ Union groups and a Drama Club which performs an annual pantomime, and various other groups and classes, as well church and community social events through the year. Members of the church regularly visit local schools, and nursing and retirement homes in the parish, and visit or take communion to those at home who can’t attend church and would like to stay in touch. Many church members also actively support our local FoodBank.

Lots of people each year contact us to mark the key points in their lives – for christenings, weddings and funerals. If we can help you with any of these, please talk to us! We would love to hear from you, or welcome you to any of our services or groups!
